Yukishio-chinsuko (L)

Chinsuko is a traditional Okinawa biscuits which have been enjoyed by generations for over 400 years. The today’s style Chinsuko was created by a chef, Arasaki, who served during the late Ryukyu Kingdom. Four hundred years later the Chinsuko remains a favorite and is the highest selling brand in the everyday biscuit segment. Contains Yukishio (Yukishio is made from the seawater's salt of Miyako-jima sealand which contains a lot of minerals) and a moist. The new style Chinsuko contain less sugar but taste sweeter. It is not only for souvenir as local people enjoy it on a daily basis.
