Umibudo is a seaweed called green caviar or sea grape. This seaweed grow only to Okinawa and is a healthy food from Okinawa Island. The edible seaweed, which looks like a mini string of green pearls, pops in the mouth like caviar, is highly nutritious and beautiful. The texture of this fresh natural umibudo is different and the taste is better that the seaweed growed up in the farm. Umi budo is eaten raw and dip in any sauce you like. A popular way is to use soy sauce and wazabi as you would do with sushis. It can also be added on top of a salada making it an original dishe. Important : Do not keep in fridge.
