How do I navigate through the store?
The easiest way is to naviguate through categories to get a list of products.
By clicking on one of the product in the list, you get a long description with one or several pictures.
You can also use the search function located near the language flags on the website.
If you need more information about our products, please contact us.

How do I make a purchase?
Simply navigate to the product you are interested in purchasing, then click on the "Add to Cart" button.
When a products list is displayed, you can also add one or several products in your cart by choosing a quantity and clicking on the "Add Selected Products To Cart" button.
A message will display on top to confirm the selected products have been added to your cart.
You can view details about your cart anytime by clicking on the "View Cart" button.
If you are done shopping, click on the "Go To Checkout" button to complete your purchase where you will be prompted for shipping and payment information.
All online transactions are secure and encrypted with SSL (secure socket layer) technology for ultimate protection of private and financial information.

Do you send printed catalogues?
As our product inventory is constantly evolving, Okinawa Shop does not carry a print catalog. We feature all of our products on our website.

What are my payment options?
For cusomers residing in Japan we offer 3 payment options:
- cash on deliver through Yamato Transport
- bank transfer
- credit card payment through Paypal (note that you can pay without creating a Paypal account)
Customers residing overseas may pay by credit cards through Paypal (note that you can pay without creating a Paypal account).
All orders will be processed and shipped once payment has been received.

What is the currency for all prices?
All prices listed on our website are quoted in Japanese yens.
Displayed prices in dollars and euros represent a base price estimation excluding any discount.
All payments are made in Japanese yens.

What is Okinawa Shop' pricing and discount policy?
We regularly offer discounts on selected products in our website.
We also from time to time offer discount coupons.
We offer free shipping within Japan for all orders over 10,000 Japanese yens.

How do I order online?
Placing an order online is easy and convenient. Simply select the products you would like to purchase and place them in your shopping cart. When you are finished shopping, click on the "Go To Checkout" button to begin the checkout process. Once you have entered your shipping and billing information, submit your order.

Do you ship internationally?
We are happy to ship anywhere in the World.
Note than some products (all kind of food and drinks) are only available for our customers located in Japan.
Customs rules are differents between countries. Some places like Australia or New Zealand are more strict than others and don't allow us to send some products including seeds or plants.
In case a product can not be sent we will have to remove it from the package. You will then have two choices: we can pay you back the corresponding cost of the product or give you a discount coupon.
If goods are being ordered from outside Japan, import duties and taxes may be incurred once your goods reach their destination.

Are online transactions secure?
Okinawa Shop assures that all transactions conducted online are completely secure. Our website uses secure socket layer (SSL) certification. We use strong security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of your information once it is in our records.

What is Okinawa Shop' product availability?
Your package will usually be shipped within 24 hours* of online ordering. Orders are processed and shipped on business days only (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays) depending on product availability.
* Glassware is hand-made one by one in workshop. Delay until the product is shipped can be up to one week.

Will I receive an email confirmation of my order and tracking information?
You will receive an email notification immediately following your order. You will then receive another notification once your product has been shipped. You will be able to track the progress of your order.

What are Okinawa Shop shipping methods?
For our customers located in Japan, we send all packages via the company Yamato Transport.
All international orders are shipped via the Japan Post.

How long does it take to receive products?
Orders shipped in Japan are delivered within 2-3 business days from the order's shipping date.
We offer 2 ways for international shipping:
- Airmail 3-6 days
- SAL 6-13 days

What is your refund policy?
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, simply return the products to us within 10 days of receipt of your order and we will be happy to credit your account for the full amount of the purchase (less shipping and handling). We're sorry, but return shipping fees are not refundable.

How do I change or cancel my order?
You may change or cancel your order as long as the order has not been processed and shipped by contacting us.

What if my package has been damaged during shipment?
Every effort has been made to ensure that your order will arrive safely after it leaves us.
If your package was damaged in shipment by the carrier, save the box and the merchandise and notify us immediately (within 24 hours).

What if my package is refused or cannot be delivered?
Should a package be refused or returned to us unopened, the customer shall be charged the shipping cost of the order amount and/or pay additional shipping costs to re-ship the order.

Does Okinawa Shop offer a service to gift wrap items?
We do not offer a gift wrapping service at the present time.
